Astro-Gemstones is situated over in Vidyanagar at No. 1-9-1113/25. If you know where the Durga Bai Deshmukh Hospital is, we are in the lane right opposite to it. It’s a fairly quiet spot once you get off the main road. We spend our days here looking at different stones and talking to people who come looking for something specific. It isn't a high-pressure environment. We just sit at our desks, handle the gemstones, and answer whatever questions come up. The shop has been here for a while and most people find us because they were already visiting the hospital area or they live nearby in Vidyanagar. We don't use any fancy sales tactics. We just show what we have and let people decide for themselves. The space is filled with small cases and various stones we’ve collected over time. It’s a bit of a niche business, so we don't get huge crowds, but we like the steady pace. Sometimes it’s just the sound of the fan and us working through the inventory. It feels honest and simple. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to keep our little corner of Vidyanagar running smoothly. If you ever find yourself near the hospital, you might see our sign down the lane. That is where we spend most of our time, just working with stones and keeping things moving.
