We’ve been here at Plot No. 10 in Medchal for a while now. The survey numbers are 444 and 445 if you’re looking at the old land records. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always noise and trucks moving around. Ashvarsha Fine Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. is just our name on the gate. Inside, it’s mostly just us working with tanks and pipes. The sun gets really hot on the tin roofs in the afternoon. We spend most of our time checking batches and making sure nothing leaks. It isn't a fancy place. There are some trees near the entrance that we try to water, but the dust from the road usually covers them by noon. Most of the guys here live nearby or take the bus to the Medchal station. We have a small office room where the fans usually creak. We keep our logs there. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit. It's just how things go in this part of the estate. We focus on the work at hand. People know us for being here every day, rain or shine. The work is messy sometimes because we deal with chemicals, so we wear our boots and gear. It's practical stuff. We don't have much to say about ourselves other than we show up and do what needs doing at our spot on the map. We’ve seen other shops come and go, but we just keep doing what we do every day without much fuss.
