You can find Maa Vaishno Machineries over in Gaurinathapuram, specifically at No. 1-3-2/40/7. We are tucked away in the Yellareddyguda part of Kapra, near Dr. AS Rao Nagar. It’s a bit of a maze to get here if you don’t know the area well. Our shop is full of all kinds of parts and heavy gear. There is usually a bit of grease on everything and the sound of metal hitting metal. We deal with various types of machinery and it’s a lot of hands-on work. Most days involve taking things apart or putting them back together to see why they stopped working. It’s not the cleanest job in the world, but it’s what we know. We have a lot of regular customers who come from across the city because they know we will give them a straight answer about their equipment. Sometimes we are waiting on a specific part to arrive and the shop gets crowded with stuff waiting to be fixed. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s just a working space where things get repaired and sold. The local chai wallah knows our order by heart because we take a break every afternoon just to get away from the noise for ten minutes. It’s a basic operation and we like it that way. We just want to make sure the machines are running properly before they leave. We keep working until the job is finished and the customer is okay to go.
