Andhra Mahila Hospital

If you head down O. U. Campus Road in Vidyanagar, you’ll find us easily enough. We have been sitting here in this spot for quite a long time. It’s a quiet enough area most days, being near the campus and all. The hospital mostly focuses on women’s health, which has always been the way things are done here since we started. It isn't a massive, shiny skyscraper, just a regular building where people come when they need help. The nurses have been here for years and they know the regulars by name. Sometimes the hallways are a bit narrow and the paint might be a little old in spots, but the equipment works and the rooms stay clean. People usually come in for checkups or when they're expecting. It gets noisy when the babies are born, but that's the part we like most about the day. We don't spend money on big ads or flashy signs. Word of mouth is how most folks find out about us. You just show up, sign the ledger, and wait for your name to be called. It's a straightforward place. No one is trying to impress anyone with big words or corporate talk. We just do the exams and give out the medicine. Being near the university means we get a mix of people, students and locals alike. It’s a steady pace most days and we like it that way.
