Anand Vehicle Pipe Works

Tucked away in Green Hotel Lane in Gowli Guda, you’ll find our workshop. Anand Vehicle Pipe Works has been at 4-8-609 for a long time. Gowli Guda is one of those places where everyone seems to be fixing something. We specialize in vehicle pipes, which means our hands are almost always black with soot or grease. It’s a small lane, so it can be a bit of a squeeze when people bring their vehicles in. We don’t have a big waiting room or fancy brochures. Most people just stand around and watch us work or go grab a tea nearby while we finish up. We use old tools that have lasted us years and we trust them more than the new stuff. The work is loud and sometimes sparks fly when we are cutting or welding, but we’re used to it. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in Hyderabad. We just want to do a decent job so the pipes don't leak and the engines run right. Sometimes the heat in the workshop gets intense during the summer months, but we just keep the fans going and get through the day. It’s a very hands-on life. If you’re looking for us, just head down the lane by the Green Hotel and listen for the sound of metal being worked. We’re usually there from morning till late evening, six days a week, just getting the work done.
