Amstar Traders

Amstar Traders sits at 18-242 in Pragati Nagar, which is part of the Ramanthapur area in Hyderabad. We’ve been here for a good stretch of time now. The business is pretty simple—we buy things and we sell them. Our warehouse space is usually full of crates and boxes waiting to go somewhere else. It’s a lot of inventory management, which sounds more exciting than it actually is. Most of the time, it’s just me and a couple of others checking lists and making sure the right items get onto the right trucks. Ramanthapur can get pretty congested, so we’ve learned to plan our shipping around the worst of the traffic. The office part of the building is just a couple of desks and a computer that’s seen better days. We don’t go in for anything flashy. Our customers are mostly other small businesses who need reliable supplies without any fuss. We’ve built some good relationships over the years just by being consistent. Sometimes a shipment shows up late or a box gets damaged, and we have to spend the afternoon sorting it out. That’s just the nature of trading. We like being in Pragati Nagar; it’s a decent place to work and the people around here are friendly enough. We just keep our heads down, do our work, and try to keep things moving as smoothly as possible for everyone involved. It is a living.
