Amrutha Paper Plates

We run Amrutha Paper Plates from our place at D. No:18-7-599/9 in Vivekananda Nagar. We are tucked away in the Chatrinaka area of Uppaguda here in Hyderabad, zip code 500053. It’s a neighborhood business, really. We have a few machines that press the paper into different sizes and shapes for plates. It’s a busy little operation. There are stacks of paper rolls everywhere you look. We spend our days watching the presses and packing the finished plates into plastic bags. It’s repetitive work, but we find a rhythm to it. The neighbors know us as the place that always has those big bundles of cardboard out front. We started this because there’s always a need for disposable plates at parties and street stalls. It’s not a high-tech factory, just a simple room with a couple of machines and some hardworking people. We don't have a website or a big sales team. People just come by or call us when they need a load of plates. The street can be a bit narrow for big deliveries, but we make it work. It’s just us doing our thing in Uppaguda, making something people use every day and then throw away. We keep the machines oiled and the paper coming in. Some days the humidity makes it tricky, but we just adjust the heat on the press.
