Amiso Natural Aroma

Up here on Road 12 in B. Hills, it’s usually pretty quiet throughout the week. We moved into this spot because it felt right for what we do at Amiso Natural Aroma. The air around here feels a bit different than the main, busy parts of the city. When you walk into our workspace, the first thing you notice is definitely the scent. It’s not one specific thing, just a mix of all the different materials we work with. We spend most of our mornings sorting through different supplies and ingredients. Some of them come in big heavy bags, and others are in small glass jars that we have to be careful with. We try to keep things organized on the shelves, but sometimes the labels get a bit dusty over time. It’s a very hands-on job for everyone here. We’re often measuring things out or checking the quality of a new batch. It takes a lot of patience. You can’t really rush this kind of work if you want it to turn out right. We have a small team here. Most of us have lived in this part of town for years. We don’t have a big fancy storefront with neon lights or anything. It’s just a plain door on a regular road. People usually find us by word of mouth or if they happen to be driving by and catch a whiff of something. We keep the windows open mostly.
