We’ve been running Amba Motor Cycle right here by the Ramkote Bus Stop for a good while now. It’s a busy spot and you probably see us every time you are waiting for your bus to show up. Most days it is just us working on bikes and getting our hands dirty with oil and grease. People stop by when their scooters start making a weird noise or if they just need a quick look at their chain before a long ride. We don't have any fancy waiting room or anything like that with air conditioning. You just bring your bike in, we see what is wrong, and try to get it back on the road as soon as we can. Ramkote is a crowded area so it gets pretty loud with all the traffic passing by our front door all day. Sometimes we have a lot of spare parts lying around on the benches and the floor isn’t always the cleanest, but that is just how a real workshop looks when you are busy. We know the regulars by name and they know exactly where to find us. It’s just honest work day in and day out. Some mornings start slow with a cup of tea from the stall nearby, then someone rolls in with a flat tire or a broken light that needs fixing. We just handle whatever comes through the door without making a big deal out of it. It is not a big corporate setup, just a local shop where we do our thing and hope the engines keep running smooth for everyone in the neighborhood. We stay late some nights when the work piles up. That is just how it goes here.
