Amaravati Grain Milling

You’ll find our mill out at plot number sixty-four in the fourth phase of the IDA in Patancheru. It’s a heavy industrial area, so there are always big trucks moving around and a lot of dust in the air. We’ve been operating here in Hyderabad for quite some time, focusing on processing grain as it comes in from the suppliers. The mill itself is a large, open shed where the machines take up most of the floor space. It’s loud when everything is running, and you have to raise your voice just to be heard over the grinders. We don’t have any fancy office space or a waiting room. If someone stops by, we usually just talk out near the loading bay where it’s a bit quieter. The work is physically demanding, especially during the peak seasons when the grain arrives in bulk. We spend our days hauling bags and keeping the equipment from clogging up. The heat in Patancheru can be pretty intense in the summer, so we keep the big doors open to catch whatever breeze we can. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living. We aren’t trying to do anything complicated. We just take the raw grain and mill it down properly. Most of our neighbors are in the same boat, just working hard in their own units. We have a small crew of people who have been with us for years and know the machines inside out.
