Sharada Plastics

Sharada Plastics is situated at 747, Vishwanagar in Almasguda. We are a small outfit that works with plastic goods. Our building is pretty plain and blends in with the other structures in Vishwanagar. Inside, we have some machines that run for most of the day. They make a rhythmic sound that you eventually stop noticing. We produce different items depending on what is needed at the time. There is usually a bit of a smell of warm plastic in the air, which we are used to. We keep our finished products in stacks against the walls until they are ready to go out. It is not the most glamorous job, but it is steady. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for a long time. We eat our lunch together and talk about the news or family stuff. The road outside can get dusty during the dry season. We try to keep the place tidy, but it is an industrial process, so there is always some scrap or dust around. We don't have a fancy showroom. People who need our products usually know where to find us. We just focus on making things right and getting them delivered. It is a quiet life in Almasguda, and we like it that way. We have a small garden patch out back where we grow a few vegetables during the rainy season. It is a nice place to take a break from the noise of the machines. The building next door is a bit taller than ours, so we get some shade in the late afternoon.
