Alfa Aesar

The office is over at No. 195 196 Kandlakoya in the Medchal Mandal area. It is a bit far out for some, but it suits us well enough for what we do at Alfa Aesar. We handle a lot of different chemicals and laboratory materials here. The warehouse part gets pretty warm during the summer months, so we usually have the fans running full blast. It is not a very quiet place because there is always something being moved or packed. We spend a lot of time checking labels and making sure the inventory matches what the computer says. Sometimes the delivery trucks get delayed on the main road, which throws off the whole afternoon schedule. We are just a group of people who know their way around a lab catalog. Most of us have been working together for a long time, so we don't need to say much to get things done. The lunchroom is where we mostly catch up on things that aren't about work. It is a simple setup, nothing too modern or flashy. We have some sturdy shelves and a lot of boxes. People call us up looking for specific items, and we spend the morning tracking them down in the back. It is just a regular job for us, keeping things moving and making sure the right bottles get to the right places without any fuss. We don't have a big corporate team, just us handling the daily stock and shipments.
