Akanksha Caterers

Akanksha Caterers is based at 12-11-178 in Brahmana Basti, over in the Warasiguda area. We started this business because we enjoy cooking for people and it just grew from there. It’s mostly family members working here, though we hire extra help when there is a big wedding or a local festival to cover. The kitchen gets really hot during the summer months, especially when we have all the big burners going at once. We buy our vegetables and spices from the local markets nearby so everything is fresh. We don't have a fancy office or a polished sales team. Most of our customers come to us because they’ve eaten our food at a friend's house or a community event. We handle the cooking, the serving, and the cleaning up afterward. It’s hard work and we are often on our feet for twelve hours a day, but it’s what we know how to do. Sometimes we forget to answer the phone right away if we are busy with a big order of biryani. We’ve been in this spot for a long time and the neighbors are used to the smell of spices drifting down the street. We just focus on making enough food so that nobody goes home hungry. It’s a practical business run by real people who just want to do a good job in our own neighborhood.
