Our office is at 6-3-1113/2 in Begumpet, right beside the Blue Moon Hotel. If you've ever been around there, you know how busy that stretch of road gets. Aishwarya Shipping Agencies has been operating out of this spot for a while. We aren't a huge corporation with glass walls; it's more like a regular workspace where the air conditioner sometimes makes a weird rattling noise. Most days are spent on the phone talking to people at the ports or checking on container status. Shipping can be a real headache with all the rules changing, but we just take it one day at a time. The staff here knows each other well, so it’s a bit informal. We have tea together in the afternoons when the heat in Begumpet gets to be too much. We handle a lot of documents and customs stuff which isn't very exciting to talk about, but it’s what keeps the lights on. Sometimes things get delayed at the docks, and we have to explain that to folks, which isn't always fun. We just try to stay honest about what’s happening. It’s a practical business. We don't have a big sign out front, just the address and our name on the door. It’s a lot of work but it’s what we know how to do here. Every day brings new paperwork problems to solve, and we just keep at it.
