Agni Crumb Rubber Industries Pvt. Ltd. is based out of Hanumantekdi. We are in Sri Mukund Nivas, specifically Flat No. 202 at H.No. 4-3-536 on K.S. Lane. It’s a bit of a maze getting through the lanes sometimes, but once you find us, it’s a pretty quiet spot for work. Dealing with crumb rubber means we are always thinking about materials and recycling processes. It is not the cleanest business in the world, but it is necessary work. Our office in the flat is where we keep all the records and manage the staff. We aren't trying to be some huge global entity with a glass tower. We are just a local operation trying to handle rubber waste and turn it into something useful again. The K.S. Lane area has its own rhythm. You get to know the neighbors and the local tea stalls. We spend our days coordinating between the collection points and the processing units. It can be stressful when machines break down or when the weather makes transport difficult. We don't have a mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just have a calendar and a lot of logbooks. Everyone here knows their job and we just get on with it. It is a practical business run by people who don't mind getting their hands a bit greasy. We’ve been here at Hanumantekdi for a while now and plan to stay.
