Abhiti Polymers

Being located in Netaji Nagar within the Kattedan IDA means we deal with a lot of heat and noise. Abhiti Polymers at Shed No 2, Plot No 140 is our home base. It’s a sturdy building, but it gets incredibly stuffy in the afternoons. We have a big rolling door that we keep open to get some air moving through the place. Inside, there are stacks of polymer bags everywhere you look. We try to keep things organized, but when a big shipment comes in, the whole floor gets covered. The guys working the machines have a system down, so things move along even when it feels chaotic. We have a small sink in the back for washing up and a tiny room for keeping our records. The computer is old and slow, but it gets the invoices printed eventually. Outside, the road is full of potholes, so the trucks have to move slowly when they pull up. We’ve been in this part of Hyderabad for quite some time. We know the other business owners on this street, and we often borrow tools or help each other out with minor repairs. There isn't anything special about the way we operate. We just turn the machines on in the morning and turn them off at night. The work is repetitive, but it’s what we know how to do. Some days the water tank runs dry and we have to call a tanker.
