Abbas & Co

We have been running Abbas & Co for quite a while now. Our place is located at 4-1-958, right across the street from the Santosh Cinema Hall in the Abids area. If you know this part of town, then you know it is almost always packed with people and heavy traffic. Being right near the cinema hall means there is always something going on just outside our front door. We are a traditional kind of business. We do not have a website or any of that modern stuff; we just open the doors in the morning and talk to whoever walks in. The shop is filled with all sorts of things we have accumulated over many years. It is probably not the most organized place in the world, but we know exactly where everything is kept. We handle a lot of different requests from our local customers who have been coming to us for a long time. Abids is a very busy commercial center, so we get all kinds of people stopping by throughout the day. It has a real family-run feel here, even if it is just a couple of us working. We do not use any fancy management techniques or computers. We still use our old ledgers and keep track of everything by hand. Sometimes the noise from the movie crowds gets to be a bit much, but it is just part of the experience of being in this part of Abids. We have seen the neighborhood change a lot, but we are still here at the same spot.
