Aashritha Clinic

Aashritha Clinic is located in House Number 17-96 within the SBH Colony in Uppal. It is basically a house that has been set up to serve as a local clinic for the people in this neighborhood. Because it is in a residential colony, it has a very different feel than a clinic in a shopping mall or a big hospital. It is quiet and feels a bit more personal. We have lived and worked in Uppal for a long time, so we know a lot of the families around here. People just walk over from their homes when they are not feeling well. The setup is quite simple. We have a waiting room that looks a bit like a living room and a separate area for seeing patients. It is not fancy, but it is comfortable. We don't have a big sign with flashing lights, just a small one that lets people know they are in the right place. Sometimes the neighbor’s dog barks or you can hear kids playing outside while we are working. It is just part of being in the colony. We handle regular health issues and try to give everyone the time they need. There is no rush here like you find in the city center. We just open up, see who needs us, and stay until the work is finished for the day. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait, but people usually don't mind chatting with each other while they wait.
