We’ve been operating out of this house for a while now. It’s a practical setup because we can keep an eye on everything from here. We have a lot of stuff scattered around, mostly plans and some samples of materials, because that is the nature of the construction business. It’s not a shiny showroom. We prefer to spend our time out on the sites rather than sitting in a fancy office all day. When we are here, it’s usually to settle the accounts or talk to people about upcoming projects. The neighborhood is friendly, and we know most of the folks living nearby. Sometimes the noise from the main road drifts in, but mostly it’s just the sound of the ceiling fan and the occasional motorbike passing by. We keep things straightforward. There are no big signs or bright lights out front. It’s just a regular house where we get our work done. We like it that way because it keeps our overheads low and our focus on the actual building work we do in the area. It might not look like much, but we get a lot of work done inside these walls every single day.
