Our office is tucked away in the Tarnaka Water Works Premises. If you know Secunderabad at all, you know where the Nin is, and we’re right across from that. It’s a practical location for a construction company. We spend most of our time out on sites, so the office at 12-5-55/A/4 is mainly for storing tools and keeping our records straight. The dust from the road and the projects follows us everywhere. We do a lot of small and medium jobs around the city. It’s not always pretty work, but it needs doing. We deal with a lot of brick, mortar, and steel every day. Sometimes the rain slows us down, especially during the monsoon months, but we catch up when the sun comes back out. There’s always someone coming by asking about a renovation or a new wall. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just a few of us making sure the foundations are solid and the walls are straight. The phone rings a lot with suppliers wanting to know where to drop off sand or cement. We try to stay organized, but in construction, things change fast. It’s a bit of a grind, but we like seeing a building actually stand up after weeks of digging in the dirt.
