Our place is at Srt 154 in Sanath Nagar, right here in Hyderabad. It is one of those older buildings that has seen a lot of history. We have been based out of this spot for quite some time now, and the walls probably have some stories to tell if they could talk. The area is a mix of people living here and small businesses like ours. It is not the kind of place where you will find marble floors or glass walls. We have got some old wooden chairs and a lot of metal shelves filled with electrical components. Usually, the air smells a bit like ozone and old paper. We spend our mornings checking through lists and our afternoons making sure everything is loaded up correctly. Sometimes the power goes out in the block and we just sit and wait it out with a cup of tea from the stall nearby. It is a simple life and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is. Sanath Nagar is a good spot for us because it is easy for the trucks to get in and out, mostly. We know the neighbors and they know us. You won't find any big corporate slogans hanging up here. Just the name Vijai Electricals on a simple sign out front. It is honest work and we do it every day without much fuss.
