Ultra Power Construction

Our office for Ultra Power Construction is actually at V.P. Kaliyaperumal’s place. It is on the Main Road in Keezhanatham, which is right by the K. Adur post office in Chidambaram. It is more of a home-style setup than a corporate office. We have been working out of this spot in Cuddalore for a good while. The front porch is where we usually talk to people who drop by. It is a quiet area, mostly surrounded by trees and the typical sounds of a village. We handle power construction projects, so a lot of our actual work happens out in the fields or on the roads, not inside the office. There are always tools and safety gear sitting in the corner of the room. We keep the paperwork in a few old metal cabinets. My desk is right near the window so I can see who is coming up the Main Road. It is not a fast-paced environment where everyone is wearing suits. We wear work clothes and drink a lot of coffee while planning out the next job site. Sometimes the neighbors stop by just to chat for a minute. It is just how things are done here in Keezhanatham. We handle our business and make sure the projects stay on track, but we do it in a way that fits the slow pace of the town.
