Our place is located in the Krishnanagar Colony over in Moula-Ali. It’s right on Road 4D, specifically plot 32-A. If you know Hyderabad, you know this part of town has its own rhythm. We’ve been set up here at 5-101 for a while now. It’s mostly about the machinery for us. We spend the morning checking lists and the afternoon talking to guys out on the work sites. The office is tucked into the colony, so it’s a bit quieter than being right on the main highway, which is nice when you’re trying to think. We have maps and diagrams pinned to the walls because that’s what we deal with all day long. It isn't a place where you'll find people in suits. Most of us are more comfortable in boots and shirts with the sleeves rolled up. There is a lot of back and forth about engine parts and hydraulic systems. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. That’s just how it goes here. We help keep the local construction projects supplied with what they need. It’s not a complicated setup, just a group of people who understand how these big machines work. We keep a stash of biscuits for when visitors drop in to talk about their equipment. It's just a regular local business doing its thing every single day without any extra polish.
