We've been over here at the Railway Colony in Kallukuzhi for a while now. It’s right by Trichy Junction, so there’s always noise from the trains passing by at all hours. People come and go throughout the day, mostly just busy with their own thing. The office isn’t anything fancy to look at, just a practical space where we handle our daily tasks. Some of us have been working here for many years, and we know the neighborhood inside and out. It gets incredibly hot in Trichy, especially in the middle of the year, so we mostly stay inside during the afternoons and keep the fans going. There’s a small tea stall just down the road that we visit way too often. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desks, but we just get through it bit by bit without much complaining. It's a busy spot because of the station. We see a lot of commuters walking past the gate every morning while we are starting our day. The building itself is older, typical of the railway quarters you see around here. We just try to keep things organized so we can find what we need. It’s not a big corporate setup with glass walls or shiny floors, just a regular office with desks and old files. Most people who stop by have some business with the local projects. We don't spend much time on decorations. It's about getting the job done. The fans hum all day long. Sometimes we share lunch together. It’s a quiet routine, even with the engines whistling outside.
