Stores Officer

I’m currently based out of house number 13-63 in the P&T Colony of Dilsukhnagar, right here in Hyderabad. I work as a stores officer. It’s a role that requires a lot of attention to detail, which I suppose is why I even keep my passport number, F 2295526, handy for all the official bits. This part of Hyderabad is always humming with people. My office is basically a room filled with ledgers and shelves. I’ve been in this line of work for quite some time now, and I’ve learned that if you don’t track the small things, the big things fall apart. The colony is a decent place to work, relatively quiet compared to the main roads of Dilsukhnagar. I spend my mornings going through the stock and the afternoons filling out reports. Sometimes I have to travel for the job, which is why the passport is always ready in my drawer. It’s just me and the inventory most days. I don't go in for big speeches or marketing talk. I just make sure the supplies are accounted for and the records are clean. The house is an old one, but it serves the purpose well enough for storing what we need. It’s practical work for a practical person. I like the predictability of the shelves and the way everything has its own specific spot. It makes the day go by faster and keeps things from getting messy or confused.
