Our office is situated near Andhra University, which has been our home since 1992. Visakhapatnam is a beautiful city, though it’s definitely gotten much more crowded since we first started out here all those years ago. Being near the university gives the area a certain energy, even if we are just focused on our regular consulting work at Span Consultants. We have been in the same spot for decades now. Sometimes the sea breeze makes it through the windows, but usually, it’s just the sound of the traffic and the students outside. We don’t have any fancy brochures or a PR team. We just show up every morning and handle whatever work is on the desk. Since 1992, we’ve seen the university grow and the city change around us. The building is older now, and the stairs creak a bit when you walk up, but it works for us. We handle a lot of different things, mostly paperwork and advisory stuff for people who need it. We don't really do the whole corporate branding thing. It’s just a small group of us who know how to get things done without making a big deal of it. Most of our days are spent sitting at the desks or meeting someone at a local tea stall to talk things over in person. It’s a practical way to live and work. Vizag is a good place for a business like ours because people here value long-term presence. We’ve been part of the landscape for a long time now.
