Site Supervisor

My name is Santhosh Kumar and I run things here from Plot No 2-3/66 in the FCI Colony area of Miyapoor. Being a site supervisor in Hyderabad means dealing with a lot of heat and a lot of different people. Every day I head out to the plots to see how the masonry is going. We are usually working on residential buildings, so there is always someone asking when they can move in. I have to explain that these things take time, especially when the weather does not cooperate. I spend most of my morning checking the levels and making sure the plumbing pipes are going in the right spots before we pour the floors. It is a lot of responsibility because if I miss one small thing, it causes a big problem later. I do not have a big corporate office, just a small space where I keep the site records and the tool kits. Sometimes I have to go find the workers if they do not show up on time, which can be a real pain. We use a lot of local materials and I have to haggle with the vendors to get a fair price for the sand and gravel. It is a loud, messy job but I have been doing it for years now. I just try to keep things moving so we can finish on time without making any big mistakes.
