This Simplex Infrastructures Ltd. office is located right at the Acc Chanda Cement Works in Ghughus. Since we are based inside the Cement Nagar area of Chandrapur, there is always a bit of dust in the air and the sound of machinery in the distance. It’s the reality of being in an industrial zone in Maharashtra. The office is utilitarian. We don’t have much in the way of comfort, just the essentials like sturdy tables, computers, and a lot of safety gear tucked in the corners. The walls are a plain color, and we have calendars from three years ago still hanging up sometimes. Working here means you get used to the heavy trucks rolling by all day long. We coordinate a lot of the infrastructure work from this small hub. The tea here is strong, and we drink a lot of it while going over the daily reports. It’s a rough-and-ready environment. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the decor because we are usually too busy with the actual operations. The light comes in through small windows that we have to wipe down often. It’s a place where work boots are more common than dress shoes. We know the security guards and the plant workers by name. It is just a straightforward branch office where the main goal is to keep the local projects for Simplex moving forward through the heat and the dust of the cement works.
