Over in Hyderabad, we are located at H.No. 22-79 in R.K Nagar, which falls under the Malkajgiri area. It is a residential neighborhood, so it feels a bit quieter than a typical city center office. The house number is easy to find if you know the streets of Malkajgiri. Simplex Infrastructures Ltd uses this space to manage a lot of the local site work. The office is basically a house that has been set up with desks and filing cabinets. We don't have a big sign outside, so you might walk right past it if you aren't looking for the number. Inside, the atmosphere is pretty relaxed but everyone is busy. We spend a lot of time on the phone with site supervisors and checking on the delivery of materials like gravel and steel. The Hyderabad weather can be very dry, so we try to keep the place cool as best as we can. There is a small courtyard where some of us take breaks. It is a very local operation and most of us live nearby. We don't have any fancy brochures to hand out. If someone comes by, they are usually here for a specific reason like a job interview or a delivery. It is a straightforward place for people who like to work without too much noise. The neighbors know us as the office that deals with the big construction projects happening around the city.
