Out here in Mahal Rajupally, things are a bit quieter than in the big towns. We are based in the K.Vpally Mandal part of Chittoor, and our mining work keeps us pretty busy under the sun. It’s a dusty job, to be honest, but someone has to do it. We spend a lot of time at the site near Thimmapuram Post, making sure things are moving as they should. The roads around here can be a bit rough sometimes, especially after it rains, but we make it work. It is not like an office job where you sit in the AC all day. We are usually out there seeing what is happening on the ground. Most of the people working here are from around this district, so we all know each other well enough. We don't use big words to describe what we do because it is just mining. We take things one day at a time and try to keep the equipment running. Sometimes parts break or things get delayed, but that’s just how it goes in this line of work. Chittoor has a lot of hills and landscape that we see every single morning when we start our shift. It’s a lot of manual effort and long hours, but we are used to the rhythm of it now. We just do what we need to do and head home to our families once the day is finally over.
