Ratnam Builders

We are based out of a house in Bagh Ameer, which is in the Kukatpally area of Hyderabad. The address is H.No:2-86. Since we are in the building trade, there is always some kind of activity going on. Usually, there are blueprints spread out over the dining table because that's where we do most of the planning. We don't have a high-rise office with glass walls. It's more of a home-base setup where we meet with contractors or talk to people about their house plans. Kukatpally is always under construction anyway, so it feels like the right place to be. We spend a lot of our time out at different sites, so the office is often empty during the middle of the day. When we are here, it’s mostly to settle bills or look at new designs. The walls have some old photos of projects we've finished. It can get a bit dusty with all the files and samples of bricks or tiles lying around in the corners. We aren't big on fancy meetings. We just sit down, have some water, and talk about what needs to be built next. It’s a small family-style operation. Everyone knows their job and we don't need a lot of supervision. We’ve lived and worked in this part of Hyderabad for years, so we know the local streets and the suppliers pretty well. It keeps us busy and we like the work we do.
