Ramky Pharmacity (India) Limted is based out here in Markapur, which is in the Prakasam District of Andhra Pradesh. S. Srikanth Reddy, who is the son of S.V. Subba Reddy, is involved with the operations here at D.No 2-118. We focus on the pharmaceutical city side of infrastructure, which is a bit more specialized than general building. It involves a lot of specific planning for the industry. Our daily life involves a lot of technical checks and making sure the site development is up to the required standards. It’s a bit of a trek out here sometimes, but we like the location. It’s a lot of practical, day-to-day management. We don't have a big, shiny corporate headquarters; it’s more of a functional workspace where we can actually get things done. We deal with a lot of different people, from local workers to specialized contractors. Things can get a little messy with all the regulations and the physical work involved in setting up a pharmacity, but we just take it one step at a time. We’ve been in this part of Andhra Pradesh for a while now. We aren't big on making grand statements. We just show up, do the work, and try to make sure everything is moving in the right direction. It’s tough work, but it feels good to see the progress on the ground. There is always a lot to do, and we just keep pushing forward.
