Our office is in the Surya Shelters II building, specifically flat F1. We are right across from the Bolarum Railway Station in Secunderabad, so we hear the trains coming and going all day long. It’s actually quite helpful for keeping track of time without looking at a clock. The building is on the PKV Suryanarayana stretch, which most people around here know pretty well. It’s a 500 010 pin code area. The office itself is pretty basic. We have some desks, a few filing cabinets, and a lot of papers everywhere. Since we are right by the station, it’s easy for people to find us, though the traffic near the tracks can be a mess in the evenings. We spend most of our time coordinating things over the phone or on the computer. It’s not a quiet place, but it has a good energy to it. Sometimes the station announcements are so loud we have to pause our conversations. The building has been around for a while and shows some wear and tear, but it’s sturdy. We don't have any fancy signs or flashing lights. We are just a group of people working out of a flat in a convenient location. Most of the neighbors in the building are families, so we try to keep the noise down. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we do every day and it keeps our overheads low.
