Precast Building Systems is run by K. Srinivas over in Sai Baba Nagar, Gujjanagundla. Our address is D.No.1-35-146, right here in Guntur-6. We work with precast materials, which basically means we make concrete parts in one place and then move them to where they need to go. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and careful measuring. If you come by our yard, you’ll see lots of molds and heaps of gravel. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, but we get the job done. We’ve been doing this for a while, following in the footsteps of family. The sun gets really hot here in Guntur, and working outside with concrete can be exhausting. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals written on the walls. We just want to make sure the slabs and columns we make don't crack. We have a few guys who help with the pouring and the transport. Sometimes the truck breaks down and we have to spend the afternoon fixing it instead of working. That’s just life in this business. We don't do much advertising. Most people find us because they saw our name on a delivery truck or heard about us from a neighbor. We just keep busy and try to stay on top of the orders.
