Planet Pro Sound&Lights is tucked away right behind Pragatools in Gandhinagar, Secunderabad. If you know the area, you know it gets pretty busy around here. We spend most of our days dealing with heavy equipment, speakers, and miles of tangled cables. It is not always glamorous. The shop at Ho-6-6-427/1/ is usually full of gear waiting to go out to some event or another. People stop by and ask us about lighting setups while we are trying to test out a new set of amps. The weather in Secunderabad can be a bit much, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to chat because we've been in this spot for a while now. We handle a lot of the sound needs for local things happening around the city. It’s mostly just us making sure the lights turn on when they are supposed to and the sound doesn't crackle. Sometimes we stay late fixing a board that took a hit at a show. It’s a lot of lifting boxes and checking connections. Gandhinagar has changed a bit over the years, but our spot behind Pragatools stays pretty much the same. We have our routine. Most mornings start with checking the inventory and making sure nothing got broken over the weekend. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until late evening. Secunderabad-80 is home for us.
