It’s a busy area because of the Orient Cement plant being right there. Every day is pretty much the same, watching the materials come in and the cement go out. We’ve been operating from this location for quite a bit. It’s a bit of a trek from the main town of Mancheriyal, but we have everything we need right here. The road to the town is what we use for most of our supplies. People around here mostly work at the plant or support the folks who do. It is a very practical kind of place with no frills. There are no big malls or anything like that, just the work site and the housing for the workers who keep things running. We handle the paperwork and the day-to-day stuff that keeps the site going from our small office. Sometimes the power goes out, or the rain makes the roads muddy and slow, but we just deal with it as it comes. It’s a local operation even if the company is big. We know most of the people passing through the gates. We focus on the cement and making sure the trucks are loaded on time for their long journeys. It’s dusty and loud sometimes, but that is just the nature of the business in this part of the state. We’ve grown accustomed to the rhythm of the machines.
