This branch of Myk Schomburg India Pvt.Ltd is over in Old Alwal, Hyderabad. It’s a settled part of the city, not like the new high-rise areas. We like it here because it feels like a real neighborhood. Our facility isn't very large, but we pack a lot into it. We deal with all sorts of construction materials and chemicals that people need for their houses and bigger projects. The morning usually starts with the sound of the shutters going up. We check the logs and see what needs to be moved out first. Hyderabad weather can be tough, especially the heat, but we’ve got our routine down. The staff mostly lives nearby, so they don’t have to travel too far. We know the local shops and the tea stall down the road. It’s a practical environment. We don’t have much use for fancy decorations. We prefer to keep the floor clear for the pallets. People come in to pick up their orders and we chat for a bit before they head off. It’s a steady pace. Sometimes it gets hectic when three trucks show up at once, but we manage to sort it out. We’ve been in Old Alwal long enough that people recognize our sign. It’s just us, working away and making sure the supplies get where they are supposed to go. No real fuss, just the daily grind and some hard work.
