Humayunagar is a busy corner of Hyderabad, and our office at H.No:10-3-186 is right in the thick of it. The street is named after Khaja Hameeduddin Ahmed, and it has that old Andhra Pradesh feel to it. We’ve been here long enough that we know the guys at the corner shop by name. The building is a bit worn down, but it serves our purpose well enough. We don’t have any marble floors or glass walls. It’s just a place with some desks, a few old filing cabinets, and a kettle that takes forever to boil. We spend our days mostly on the phone or going through stacks of papers that seem to grow every week. Sometimes the traffic outside gets so loud we have to shout to be heard, but you get used to it. The windows are usually dusty from the road, so we don't bother cleaning them too often. We’re just a group of people who show up every morning and try to get through the list of things to do. There’s no big philosophy behind it; we just do our jobs. Lunch is usually a quick affair, often something bought from a nearby cart. We don’t have a big corporate sign, just a small one near the gate. It’s an honest, simple way to spend the day in this part of the city. We're just regular folks who put in the time.
