Our office is located in Gandhi Towers, which is right in the KPHB VI Phase area of Kukatpally. We’re on the first floor in Flat No. 104. If you know Hyderabad, you know this area is always moving and can get pretty crowded. We’ve got Plot No. 326 and 327 here. It’s a practical spot for us because it’s central to a lot of the projects we are managing at the moment. The office itself is full of binders and project plans. We don’t have a receptionist in a suit; it’s usually just one of us looking up from a desk when the door opens. The elevator in the building sometimes has a mind of its own, so we often just take the stairs to the first floor. We deal with a lot of infrastructure work and there’s always someone coming in with a delivery or a new set of drawings. It gets a bit noisy with the traffic outside on the main road, but we’re used to it by now. We’ve been here for a while and the space is a bit lived-in, with coffee stains on some of the desks and stacks of paper everywhere. We don’t really worry about making everything look perfect for visitors. We just want to make sure the jobs are moving along. It’s a busy life here in Hyderabad, and our little corner in Kukatpally is where we make sense of it all.
