Our office is a bit more personal than what you might expect from an engineering company. We are located at Door Number 1-24-1, and the place is run by T. Mahesh, the son of T. Sabhapathi Rao. It is very much a family-run atmosphere where everyone wears multiple hats. We don't have a fancy entrance or a sign out front that lights up at night. It is just a workspace where we keep all our engineering drawings and project folders. Most of the time, the desks are covered in maps and site surveys. We spend a lot of our days talking to contractors and checking on how the actual building is going. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed, even when things get busy. We don't go for the corporate suit-and-tie look. It is more about comfortable clothes and being ready to head out to a dusty site at a moment's notice. We have been in this area for a long time, and we know the local regulations and the people who make things happen. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and talk until it comes back on. It is a very human way to run a business. We focus on getting the measurements right and making sure the structures are solid. That is really all that matters to us at the end of the day. It is just good, honest engineering work done by people who live right here.
