Meryaluguda is where we are based, specifically in Santhosh Nagar. We’re over at Mr. Lakshman Singh’s house, number 18-1016. It’s a quiet enough area in the Nalgonda district, but our office stays pretty active. Being a branch of Larsen & Toubro, there’s always something to do with the projects around Andhra Pradesh. The office isn't what you’d call corporate-style; it’s more like a lived-in space where we get our work sorted. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out at the sites. The weather here can be really tough in the summer, so the fans are always going full blast. We’ve got a small team here. Everyone knows everyone. Usually, we're talking about site progress or coordinating with the main office. There’s no big sign outside, just our address in Santhosh Nagar. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but people find us. We keep track of the local labor and materials coming in. It is a lot of paperwork and phone calls. Sometimes we have tea together in the afternoon when things slow down for a minute. The focus is just on the daily grind of construction and engineering. We don't go for anything fancy or look for praise. If a project needs something, we try to fix it. It’s honest work and we’ve been part of this community for a bit now. We like it here even when it is busy and things get stressful.
