Mr. G. Srinivas

G. Srinivas works out of Raja Khariar in the Nuapada district. The location is linked to the M.I. Division, specifically mentioning K.L.R. Patnaik. It’s a bit of a distance from the bigger cities, but that’s where the work is. We are set up in a way that’s more about function than anything else. The office doesn't have much in the way of decoration. We have some old wooden chairs and a few sturdy tables for the paperwork. Mr. Srinivas spends a lot of time looking over documents and talking to people who come by. It’s a government-related atmosphere because of the division we are part of. Things move at their own pace here. You can't really rush stuff in a place like this. We get a lot of dust from the roads nearby, especially when it’s dry out. In the rainy season, it gets a bit muddy around the entrance. We just keep a broom handy to clean up. It’s not the kind of place where you’d see a lot of new technology. We still use a lot of paper and ink. It’s how we've always done it. We know the people in the district and they know where to find us. It’s a straightforward life. We show up, do the work that’s assigned, and head home when the sun goes down and the office closes for the night.
