Mmrkr Constructions Pvt Ltd is located in Kadapa district. We are in Peddaputha village, which is part of Vallur Mandal. The office is basically the home of L. Venkata Subba Reddy’s son. It’s a rural setting, very different from the offices you see in Hyderabad or Bangalore. We work right from the village. There’s a lot of open space and you can see the fields from nearby. It’s a quiet life here. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us handling the construction business day in and day out. Most of our work is local, so being in the village makes sense for our logistics. We keep our equipment and documents in a couple of rooms. It gets very dusty during the dry season, so we’re always cleaning off the desks before starting work. We don't have any corporate branding or big logos on the walls. It’s just a place where we sit down to talk about projects and figure out the labor schedules. People walk by and wave; everyone knows who we are in Peddaputha. We don't use much fancy technology, just what’s absolutely necessary to get the jobs done. It’s an honest way to work, being right where the projects are. We follow the rhythm of the village. When the sun goes down, things quiet down even more and we finish up for the day.
