We’ve been working out of this spot in Kalyana Nagar for a good while now. It’s the SLNS Building, number 22. Most people know the T. Dasarahalli area because it stays busy with all the traffic heading out of Bangalore. Our main base is technically Hyderabad, but this is where the daily work happens for the projects around here. It isn’t a fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a place where the staff sits, checks the project drawings, and deals with the contractors. Some mornings the parking is a bit of a mess because of the narrow streets, but we make it work. We handle a lot of the infrastructure stuff that people don't really think about until it’s finished. It’s mostly about coordinating the trucks and making sure the supplies get to the site on time. If you’ve spent any time in this part of Bangalore, you know how the weather can slow things down, especially during the rains. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out at the site locations. It’s just regular work, trying to get things built without too many hiccups. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is coming up. It’s just how the construction business goes. We’ve gotten used to the noise from the main road nearby. It’s a practical setup for the team we have here right now, even if the building is a bit old.
