Junior Engineer

I am Junior Engineer, based out of the Railway Quarters at D.No:51-D in Tadepalligudem. My father is M. Ankamarao, and this place has been home for a while. Living and working near the railway means there is always the sound of trains passing by. It becomes a part of the day that you don't even notice after a while. I handle different kinds of engineering work right from here. It isn't a professional shop in the way people think of one in the city. It’s more of a personal workspace where I can focus. I have my tools and my desk set up in a way that makes sense to me. Most people who need something done just stop by the quarters and ask for me. It’s a very informal way of doing things, but it works fine for this part of West Godavari. The weather gets quite warm, so I usually work in the early mornings and late evenings when it's cooler. I don’t have any assistants, so everything you see is done by me. It keeps me busy and I like knowing exactly how every job was finished. I don't have a website or anything like that. People in the district know where the railway quarters are, so they find their way eventually. It is just a simple life of working with my hands and keeping things moving forward.
