Jones Lang Lasalle

Our office for Jones Lang Lasalle is on Sutton Road in Hounslow, which is a pretty busy part of London if you’ve ever been through here. We are located at number 89. It’s a straightforward building, nothing too flashy, which actually suits us just fine. Most of us take the bus or the train to get in, and the walk from the station usually wakes us up before the first cup of tea. The area around Middlesex has a lot going on, so there is always noise from the traffic or people walking by. Inside the office, it’s mostly just the sound of typing and the occasional radio playing in the background. We have some desks pushed together and a kettle that gets used way too much. The carpet has seen better days, and the windows sometimes rattle when a big truck goes past, but it’s our space. We don't spend much time worrying about the decor. We are too busy keeping track of things and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we handle here. When lunch rolls around, we usually just grab something from one of the shops nearby and eat at the desk while checking emails. It isn't a glamorous life, but it’s honest work. Being in this part of London means we are close to everything we need, even if the commute can be a bit of a pain on rainy days.
