We set up shop at Plot No 226 in Saket, over by the ECIL post area in Secunderabad. It’s part of the ASE-1 section. The office here for Ivrcl Infrastructure And Projects Ltd is where we handle the heavy lifting of planning and management. It’s not a fancy place, just a functional one. We have a lot of stuff piled up, mostly maps and project folders. Secunderabad is a busy place to work, but Saket is a decent spot for us. We spend a lot of our time dealing with the logistics of infrastructure projects. It means a lot of calls to suppliers and checking in with the guys on the ground. Sometimes things go smooth, other times we’re scrambling to fix a problem. We don’t use a lot of big words or corporate talk. We just tell it like it is. If a project is behind, we work more to get it back on track. The neighborhood is okay, and we’ve gotten used to the daily routine here. Most of our neighbors are other businesses or people who have lived here forever. We try to keep things quiet, but sometimes the office gets loud when we’re debating a project plan. It’s just part of the work. We’ve been here at Plot 226 for some time and don’t plan on moving anytime soon. It’s where we get things done.
