Our local office for Ivrcl I&P Ltd is situated in K.Kotturu village. This is in the Tekkali Mandal area within Srikakulam. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but this is where the work is. The office is associated with the family of Viswanadham. We aren't located in a big glass building or a corporate park. Instead, we work from a simple building in the village where we can stay connected to the local projects. Srikakulam can be a tough place to work during the monsoon, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. Our team consists of people who understand the local geography and the challenges of doing business in this part of the state. We spend a lot of time checking on supplies and coordinating with people in the Chakipalli area. It’s a lot of manual tracking and writing things down in ledgers. We don't use much fancy jargon; we just talk about what needs to happen today and what we need for tomorrow. Sometimes we have tea outside and discuss the schedule for the coming week. It’s a straightforward way of working. There are no big meetings with presentations here, just honest talk about the job at hand. We’ve been part of this village landscape for some time now and we intend to keep it that way.
