INTERIOR

Down at 1-1-74N in Moti Nagar, you’ll find our little office. We just call it INTERIOR because that’s what we do. It’s a pretty straightforward spot in Hyderabad. Most of the time, the fan is humming and we’re looking over some sketches for a kitchen or a living room. We’ve got a lot of samples of tiles and laminates scattered around. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we have a system that works for us. The traffic in Moti Nagar can be a bit much during rush hour, so we usually stay late to avoid the worst of it. We aren't trying to be some big global firm. We’re just here in the neighborhood, working on one house at a time. Sometimes we run out of staples or the printer acts up, just like any other place. We don't have a fancy receptionist. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just says hello. It’s a very casual environment. We focus more on the wood and the paint than on having a polished image. People around here know us as the guys who are always carrying bits of wood or heavy bags into the shop. It’s just our daily life. We like being part of the local scene here in Hyd and just keeping our heads down and getting the work done. It might be dusty sometimes with all the samples, but we don't mind the mess while we are working on something new.
