Graduate Engineer Trainee

My work is situated in Gajuwaka, which is a big industrial hub in Visakhapatnam. The specific spot is D.No:27-1-201(1) in Srinagar. Being in Vizag, you can often feel the humidity from the coast. I am here as a Graduate Engineer Trainee, so my days are quite full with learning the ropes of the local industry. The office is just a plain building where we keep our files and equipment. It is not anything special to look at, but it is where the work happens. Gajuwaka is always loud with trucks and machinery nearby, which reminds me of the kind of work I am training for. I spend a lot of time checking measurements and talking to the local workers. It is a hands-on experience, and I am learning something new every single day. I don't have a fancy title or a big desk. I just have a small corner where I can focus. Sometimes I walk down the street to grab a snack and see how the other shops are doing. It is a very grounded way of living and working. I am not interested in making things sound more impressive than they are. It is just me, my engineering books, and the daily tasks that need to be finished. The area is busy but it feels like a good place to start my career in engineering.
